IBK PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN
BUILDING MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT
PROSPECTUS
ABOUT THE COURSE
Although about one third of the building industries work force is engaged in maintenance, to date no recognized qualification has been provided for men and women specializing in this field. Efficient building maintenance calls for knowledge and skill, which those engaged primarily in the construction, and management of new work may not posses. It is against this background that IBK PROPERTY COLLEGE has designed a modular training programme to educate and develop trained and skilled maintenance personnel for the Nigerian building industry.
PROFESSIONAL ACCREDITATION
The IBK Diploma in Building Maintenance Management is accredited by the Institute of Maintenance and Building Management, U.K.. On enrolment, candidates would be required to join the Institute at the Technician Level. Successful completion of the Diploma will entitle students to upgrade to Associate Membership of the Institute.
THE INSTITUTE OF MAINTENANCE AND BUILDING MANAGEMENT U.K.
The Institute of Maintenance and Building Management exists as a center and focal point for what has become an area of increasingly significant and complex professional activity, providing membership services designed to enhance the performance of both its members and the industry.
